1 unexpected rejection & 1 condition impossible! What should I do?

newbiezzz

Hi there.

I'm currently in my last year of being undergrards seeking for a further studies in international commercial field, but do to circumstances my grades dropped significantly in this last year to about an average of 2.75. Contrary of my 7.5 ielts.

Still, I have tried to send in some applications and got a rejection from Kent, which I didn't expect to cuz they have go through all the trouble to e-mail discussing the matter with my professor.

Another is QMUCL, they send me an conditional offer asking me to graduate with an percentage of 70% which is impossible due to 1 remaining subjects of mine as I'm currently got just nearly 68.

After that I have discuss the matter with their law school, they said they cannot say anything until the final transcript is out, which is going to be until June or July.

Btw, right now I holds an offer from Northumbria, Essex and Nottingham Trent all in International Commercial field. I'm seeking your opinion whether I should file my application to more university like East Anglia or should I wait for QMUCL. I'm in a dilemma here cuz actually my minds goes to QMUCL already, but I'm afraid that if they r to rejected me at that point it would hv been too late to get an opportunity at UEA and my offer at Nottingham Trent would have be expired. I'm now desperately seeking an advice from u guys here. Wait, apply for more universities or take the existing offer. Please! & thank you in advance. I'm in your debt! :-)

I am now thinking that your thought is reasonable to apply much more law schools dut to your high IELTS. I am really certain that you will definitely receive more offers (both conditional and unconditional) from those in the near future.

And in the meantime, you are also attentively waiting for the final grades and will taking a look whether you will able to negotiate with QM by using them.

That will be fine to do boths parallely. Cheers!

Thanks for your opinion warun!

I am very new to these LLM thing and quite confused with my qualifications whether that my GPA would be able to enroll in more competitive law school such as UAE or not. And I also have to think very well cuz Nottingham Trent offers only valid for two months, which means I will certainly have to choose between giving up my hope for QMUCL or waste the mentioned offer.

That's why I am very stress and posted this hoping for feedback whether which university should I applied more or which of my option shouldn't I go for.

Anyway, seeing your comment here also helps me a lot. At first I am very confused whether I am good enough to apply for a highly ranked one or not. After reading through your opinion it sure encourages me a lot. I really do appreciated it! Thank you :-)
