My iBT score is just only 76. My GPA is only 3.22. Besides, I got a master degree of education, and my academic performance is good in graduate school. I've worked for more than three years. My problem is that I try to get a higher TOEFL score, however, my second test score is lower than 76. Actually, I'm very depressed. But I have to apply for the LLM 2008 Fall. If I can not get a higher score, what can I do for my applying LLM degree? Do I have chance to be admitted by the top 50 schools? Or what schools I can apply for? Please give me some advice. You still have some time to focus and work on your test. You don't have to be depressed by that if you really want to get admitted to top 50 schools.
Some schools with good names might accept you if you have strong soft factors, but again good programs are highly selective and the Toefl is one of the deciding factors.
