Dear Friends,

Along with Yale and Venderbelt, some Universities exempted me from TOEFL since official language and my language of instruction during LL.B. in India is English Language.

Whether scoring in TOEFL is also taken into consideration in assessing a candidate's merit or not? If so, whether exemption from TOEFL would in any way prejudice a candidate's chances of selection?

You need to score a certain minimum in your Toefl to be considered eligible. Anything less and they probably won't consider it. If they have granted you an exemption, then they obviously think your knowledge of English is up to par and it wont be a factor.
