Well, I've been reading all these posts about the toefl scores. I wonder, why don't you guys take IELTS? It's a lot easier than Toefl, from my experience, especially, the speaking section. For the ielts test speaking section, you get to talk to a real person !! which is, ofcause, much easier, and a lot more comfortable :)

No doubt IELTS is getting recognition but not same case at all US law schools:

From my experience, UCLA doesn't accept IELTS score but USC and UC-Berkeley do accept this as the alternative to TOEFL.
But for those who just marginal, i do suggest them to take a test at your home country before the application so that you can focus your study upon arival, rather than you need to take any further english courses which will be time-consuming and pricey.
