Would a US LLM increase my chances to be admitted to a JD program in the future?

What about gaining admission to a US bar, would that improve my chances?

I heard it's my undergrad GPA what matters and not the LLM GPA? Is it easier or harder for international students to be admitted to a JD? What if my LLM GPA is horrible? (say 2.5)
