How many people here plan to work while in their program and how many plan to go full time student only?

Studying full time is always the better option. Besides, for international students, visa restrictions may limit or totally exclude the possibility of work during the academic term(s).

I agree with KJP on this one - better safe than sorry when it comes to work. LLM should provide you with a better opportunity to get a placement in a good law firm/company/consultancy/academia and visa restrictions should not be taken lightly....

In addition, it is better to spend free time networking and meeting people while doing your LLM and repay a loan afterwards as money can always be substituted - connections, moments and time spent with quality people cannot...

I completely agree. Taking an LLM is not just about the academic aspect. It should be a holistic experience. You would want to have genuine life experiences and not be tied down by work schedules and constraints.
