I find myself in a situation very similar to yours, as I have also been accepted to all three schools. The only difference is that my focus is on business law.
Do you have any favorites at this point?
Here are a few considerations that I believe are relevant:
- All three schools are highly ranked, being part of the T14. Therefore, the ranking becomes somewhat less important as they are all prestigious institutions.
- UPenn being an Ivy League school adds a certain level of prestige to one's curriculum and offers a valuable network.
- Berkeley's location in California provides pleasant weather conditions.
- In my country, in general, NYU and Berkeley are more well-known compared to UPenn, despite all three being equally prestigious. However, in a corporate and financial level, all relevant companies, banks and law firms know perfectly that UPenn is a top tier school.
- The cost of living in Philadelphia is significantly lower compared to New York City or California.
Given the above considerations, at this point, I am leaning towards attending NYU or UPenn. However, a scholarship or financial aid could be a decisive factor.
What about you?

Fortunately, there are many career opportunities for a legal professional who has an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law. Indeed, there are entire law firms dedicated to IP law; jobs can also be found in the legal departments of non-legal firms that own or manage artistic works, technology, or other intellectual property.
