In the first session of the exam day, an exam taker sitting behind me found
out that there were no essay questions in her test book. She just looked
through the first page since the first page was a bit transparent. Later, a
proctor found out that the test books received by the test takers in my
area were defective. In my test book, I only got 34 NYS multiple choice
questions. When the exam started at 9 am, I still had not received a
correct test book. So I finished 34 questions that were in the defective
test book. Since the numbers of the pages overlapped and were not in
sequence, I am not really sure if the questions that I answered match up
with the numbered bubbles that I darkened in the answer sheet. I did not
get a correct test book until 9:47 am.
If the above situation also happened to you, please write complaint letters
to the Board. They should figure out something to compensate such error. We
may also contact each other to see what will happen. Thanks.
