Hi, I am new to the site but have heard good things.
I have just received my 2nd year exam results (LLB) at a top 3 UK university. I have scored 6 out of 8 1sts to date and 2 high 2:1s.
I would like to take an LLM/BCL or MSc in Law and Finance -Oxford course. I am contemplating an application to the US - Harvard. I have solid work experience and I have won several academic prizes. Although I realise it is difficult to comment on this little info, do I stand a chance? I simply do not know the standard. Also, do any US LLMs provide exemption for the NY Bar?
I am also concerned about funding. Can people suggest funding option for Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard for white, middle-class, English people? Many of the scholarhships do not seem to be aimed at people like me.
I would be most grateful for any responses.
Best wishes.
