LLM in Financial Crime/ White Collar Crime. (Help!)

Antara

Hi Everyone :D

I am a 4th-year law LLB (Indian) student that wants to pursue a law career in Financial Crime and/or White Collar Crimes. I was looking for a good LLM program that can help me learn and study more in this field of law.

I have looked into a few European Universities but I haven't found much luck If anyone is kind enough to guide me or direct me to a few universities that would have a course that would match my interests I would be really grateful <3

I’ve never seen an LLM just for white collar and financial crime. Those modules are usually covered in banking or financial law LLMs. And frankly, I’m underwhelmed by their modules in financial crime at places like Queen Mary University anyway. You’d learn more from the training programs requires of new employees  working in a bank compliance department.

Look into LLMs in Financial Regulation and / or Compliance. Are you just looking at UK / EU schools? If not I know that HKU has at least one program in this area, focusing on the kinds of topics you're interested in. BPP does too, but you may be better off with something more general from a better school, to be honest.
