Does anyone know if it's still possible to ask for financial aid/scholarship after being admitted. I didn't fill ask for it in my application?
Thanks :)

Hi,
I just received the mail for the interview. Any advice to prepare? I read that almost everybody who was interviewed got accepted, is it possible to be rejected in the interview?
Thanks!

I had an interview 3 ~4 weeks ago and still haven't got any email. Does this mean I'm rejected? :(

Hi guys~ I had an interview few month ago, and I'm still waiting for email from Duke. Has anyone hear any news or got accepted from Duke these days?

Hi,
If you have not been admitted during the interview, it's more likely that you have been waitlisted which is still a positive sign. (It's unlikely that they interview people they plan to reject because it would be a waste of everyone's time.)
Most likely, a first group of students has already been admitted and has a deadline (i.e. mid April, early May) to confirm. It is likely that there will be some turnover in the waiting list at this time. Indeed, some admitted students will withdraw because they accepted a competing offer from another law school (either higher ranked or offering a better scholarship). (FYI - same rationale for the scholarship offers : the law schools usually have a limited scholarship amount per year, and if an admitted student with a scholarship withdraw, this amount could theoretically be reallocated to another candidate).
So, do not hesitate to ask update by email, and keep the law school posted if you have been admitted by other laws school and if you have to confirm before a specific deadline.
Good luck!
NB: As a former Duke's LLM student, I will be happy to answer your questions about this amazing law school, North Carolina, the NY bar, etc. Please feel free to reach me by PM.

In general, they respond respectfully to all emails, even if it is just to confirm that they are not able at that time to provide you with a definitive answer.
Maybe you should double check whether the recipient's email is correct and include in the loop the International Studies Office's email (international@law.duke.edu).
Good luck!
