Has anyone status changed from submitted to under review by department?

Are you guys all studying for your LLM at Cambridge now?

My application is under review too. I think we can expect to hear back from them with regards to interviews, etc sometime in mid-January maybe? I don't think anybody would've heard back as of now.

I didn’t get the interview invite 

They begin inviting people from the second week of January, if my sources are accurate. Hopefully more people join our discussion and are able to share their progress log with regards to their Cambridge Phd application process!

They don’t until February atleast - has anybody received interview mails yet? 

Would be nice to know when they start sending interview mails out! I’ve not received one as of yet!

Anyone heard from faculty regarding interviews yet? Has Gates contacted anyone yet? 

Nothing at all! Have any of you heard back, received mails, been invited for an interview or had status changes on the applicant portal? Mine is still at "under review by the dept" stage and I've not heard back from the university or from my prospective supervisor. 

Any information or updates will be deeply appreciated :)

I'm the same - no update, change in status, or interview. 

It’s possible that some may have received interview mails, and that were the unlucky ones who didn’t! As this thread, with all due respect, doesn’t represent the majority of applicants, I think there’s no way we’ll know :(

would be great if applicants keep us posted with developments regarding their applications!

Guys, I think we are too anxious. For sure it is just the Univ being delayed or working with different deadlines.  Nobody received nothing or any status had changed (not even in the student room). So I truly believe they just postponed some emails to the next or other weeks. Let’s hope.

hi all, 

 

i am currently an LLM student at Cambridge, and the lecturers i have spoken to are noticeably tight-lipped about the workings of the degree committee.

Equally, i think their next meeting date is the 19th, so i am not sure if we can expect any feedback until then.



i could of course be wrong, but my experience last year was that it is always later, rather than sooner with Cambridge. I am eager to be proven wrong though
