Bond University to Ivy and Oxbridge

Hey there,

I was wondering if it would be possible/likely to get an LLB from Bond University and then get into a Ivy League LLM or Oxbridge LLM.

It depends on your credentials(cgpa, references, sop, cv, and the language-more likely last one is not applicable to you) rather than the name of your university you graduated from.

First of all, you need a law degree. It depends on your country's admission as some law schools require a student to be a qualified lawyer aka passing the bar exam. However, you should list some of your dream law schools and take a look at the requirement. Of course, American law schools require working experience, mostly, around 2 years. Unlike UK law schools, the consideration is on your GPA and your class rank/percentile.

If you are still in school, my suggestion is to do your best on your GPA and do some academic activities such as moot courts, academic journals, and teaching assistants. If you are already working, you should work for more than a year. In the US, people do not care much about Ivy League law schools. They pay more attention to T14 or the top 14 law schools ranked by the US news.
