Hey everyone,
I was just accepted into the Adv LLM in Business law at Leiden starting in the fall. I'm from California with a JD and am trying to find stable work in the Netherlands so I can live with my boyfriend who's from Leiden itself. I have work experience in litigation back home in California, but know that I cannot work as a "lawyer" in the Netherlands without going through extra years of schooling.
Does anyone have experience finding a job in the Netherlands post-LLM? Also, for those who have done the program is there time to work part-time during the program? Finally, what sorts of internships and job opportunities have current and former students found following graduation?
Thank you community. The other discussions on this site have been very helpful.
