Dear fellows!

I am an Austrian law student who is considering to start an LL.M.-program next year.

For me there are mainly two options:

1.) LL.M. in UK
2.) LL.M. in Holland (probably Leiden, maybe Utrecht)

Now my question is: Is an LL.M. in the U.K. really so much better for the career? I read some interviews with lawyers who said that an LL.M. in an English speaking country is really good. Nearly everyone talked about LL.M. in "english speaking countries".

What do you think about it? Are there advantages of LL.M. programmes in Leiden, Utrecht? What career paths can you pursue with an LL.M. in "non english speaking countries"?

Looking forward to read some interesting comments! Thank you.
