US Student studying in Europe

Razgrad

Greetings! I'm a US student about to get my bachelor degree in political science and was looking into law school, but in Europe. My concern though is that studying law beyond a bachelor's degree is only possible if you already have a law degree. The US is the only country in the world, which does not offer law in the undergrad stage. So, my question is: is it at all possible for US students to get a master of law if you haven't gone to law school already? Thanks for the feedback in advance!

It is possible. I have known a few people who have done it, though they were not from the United States. The more important question for you should be why would you want to do it? It will not offer you the ability to practice law, and in terms of grades unless you are brilliant you will be at a disadvantage because you will be competing against lawyers.

However, if you only want to get more knowledge about the law and do not care about practicing or grades, then yes it is possible. Although, this is not true at all schools and I would presume it is only available in an easier program.
