hi!

i am interestend in the llm in finance at goethe univeristy frankfurt. i searched the web for information on the program and it really appeals to me. however, i am not sure about the reputation of goethe university.
i asked numerous law students from munich and many told me that goethe university is probably the worst german university? Is that true? I can hardly believe that as I know that goethe univeristy has exchange agreements with wharton, duke and columbia. Moreover, I know that many law undergrads of goethe university work for renowned us law firms in their offices in frankfurt.

so what can you tell me about the reputation of goethe university? how do germans/europeans think about this institution?

Wikipedia says:

"The University of Frankfurt has at times been considered liberal, or left-leaning,..."

is that still valid? I mean are there a lot of "leftists"?
