Hi All,
I have been offered places in the Masters in International Studies specialising in international law at the Graduate Institute and the Masters in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and the Geneva Academy.
I want to practice in international law - preferably for the UN in a field context. I have a basic level of French.
I am leaning towards the MIS because it is a broader Masters which allows you to do a minor in another specialisation, plus you have to learn French as part of it and you can do an exchange. I also heard that the Graduate Institute has the better reputation. Although a lawyer friend of mine said that I would be bad to say no to the MAS in IHL because it is such a good program.
Does anyone have any thoughts on which is the better Masters? In terms of content and also international reputation?
Thanks!
