Has anyone admitted this year to the MIDS received any form of financial aid or scholarship? I haven't received any offer from the program. Should I ask the administrative officer or should I just asume they are not giving me anything? Thanks!

Lionel my friend, you have seriouss issues...according to these sites there have been an overall of 257 applications for SU (including applications that didn t meet certain formal requirements) and 260 for MIDS...how does this evidence that SU is almost unknown and Mids is the best in the world?...this may only prove that u are exagerating everything u say...
First you said that SU received 1200 applications and now you say they received 257, and I am the one exagerating??? hahahah You are so pathetic that you even had to include those applications that were incomplete to try to get closer to the MIDS! hahah
BTW, you considered the number of applications as something relevant in your poor reasoning, so, now that you realized that the MIDS receives more applications than SU, don't try to use it against me... if after reading my posts, you still don't understand why I think the MIDS is the best, it is either because you have serious problems of reading comprehension or becasue you are always looking for an excuse to avoid explaining your position... well, maybe both...

there were 1200 applications LAST YEAR, it seems that this year the numbers dropped because they introduced the new rule whereby non EU have to pay. I didn;t say that this year there were 1200...who has problems of reading comprehension?
Lionel my fried get a day job! Well, maybe this is your day job - try to sell MIDS as the best! I feel pity for you honestly, you frustrated little boy
haha but why is it that you never show evidence of what you say? Here Katie showed that the number is not even close to what you said. Why don't you show us that last year there were 1200 applicants?
BTW, and even if there were 1200 applicants, 900 students droped their application because of the small amout of money that now they have to pay??????? mmmm it seems the program is not as good as you want to sell, otherwise people would pay that money for such a maravillious program....

Hello,
for those that have been accepted to MIDS 2011, what do you expect from the program in terms of career's opportunities? I have been accepted to MIDS, Queen Mary and KCL. I have been told MIDS is the best among these LLMs in terms of career's opportunities but I would like to hear other opinions. Thank you!

You can check the MIDS website. I think there is a section where they tell you what former sutdents are currently doing. Some of them are doing PhD. Both the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute offer PhD (being the latter the most prestigious degree you can have for international irganizations). Some of them are working in international organizations, such as WTO.

I have searched the Geneva university for more time . However i have not any information about PhD program in Geneva university.
Former students just tell about their situation and educations before the Geneva university .
I am so thankful if you put the link of the sites for PhD program and job opportunities after getting this LL.m program,
I am so thankful in advance

Here you have the link for the Phd at Univ. of Geneva: http://www.unige.ch/droit/etudes/formation/doctorat.html
but, as I told you yesteday, if you want to work for an international organization then you are looking in the wron direction and you should do the PhD of the Graduate Institute: http://graduateinstitute.ch/law/law/programmes/PhD.html
While the Univ. of Geveva is well known in Private Int. Law, the Graduate Institute its well known in Public Int. Law.
I coudn't find the link of the MIDS website but, beleive me, it is as I told you. Try to contact former students (you have their details in the Alumni section) or the administrative section of the program, maybe they can provide you that information, I don't know...

it is true, it is the best LLM in arbitration of the world, so it is very well considered by universities for PhD

Hi guys,
I´ve noticed that here´s many people who were admitted to MIDS 2011-2012. Has anyone launched a facebook page already? We can be in touch and share some useful info there. Whether this has been done please drop a line!
Cheers and see you in September in Geneva!
