Hi again
From what I read in the previous post in reference to program there, I am tempted. It surely seems like the best place to be for International Arbitration.
But I was not successful in my attempt at getting a scholarship.
What about you? Did u receive any intimation? What would you suggest, as far as the reputation and recognition of MIDS is concerned?

I agree with firenze. The offer from MIDS is too good and fortunate to be let go off. But i would also suggest trying to get a scholarship from some other source.

Admitted as well, without scholarship though.
Just one general question for people planning to attend the MIDS: Do you already have in mind what to do after the master? I mean, is this functional for you to come back to your home country and practice arbitration law there?

Though finding a job with a firm in europe might be difficult because of competency and economic scenario, graduates can use it to further their career in their home country. I have been following the careers of the past graduates who have come back to their own countries and worked in International Arbitration. this is a field that is showing great promise in all jurisdictions of the world.

Congrats to all who have been admitted! I'm really interested in this program at MIDS and would like to know if there is anyone considering US law schools as well as MIDS. I know its hard to compare the two becuase they are so different but I would appreciate any comments.

One big advantage of US law schools: you have chance to get US bar, which is valued by international law firms.

Thanks indeed for your comment. Yes, I guess qualifying to sit for the US bar is a good aspect, but then again judging from the curriculum I think we might be able to achieve more valuable practical skills by studying at MIDS :) I just have to hope I get in!
