Hello Cigdem,
To what kind of programme have you been accepted??I am accepted to European business law and as well waiting for the decision on the Visby scholarship.Maybe you know something more exactly about the dates??It's really annoying because in Swedish institute website it is said that they make their decision through the May and early June...It sucks to wait for so long...And besides, where you are from?

Hello!!
I'm from Turkey, I applied for the human rights program. The Swedish Institute gives several types of scholarship. I'm considered for the one which is given to Turkish citizens. Unfortunately I don't know much about the dates. We need to wait patiently.
Satine, thanks a lot for your nice words.
And I still have hope for those who didn't receive any reply from the Uni.
Take care:)

Yes probably the only solution is just to wait...To tell the truth, I contacted Swedish institute about the dates, however, they still didn't reply to my inquiry even it passed about two weeks..
So from my living experience in Sweden, I can really say that people there take life easy and they don't HURRY. So all the best for everyone and don't lose the belief!!!
Nice day,
Asta

unfortunately I wasn't nominated for any scholarships.... :-((
So I've started to find a job there, because the cost of living is very high in Sweden, particularly for me and I don't have millions on my account..... :-))
I pre-registered for housing and I still waiting for the answer
Good luck for the everyone, and check your emails regularly!!!

Hello Satine,
Hope you will be lucky and will find a job in Sweden. Actually, Lund is very very small town and to find a job without any Swedish language skills is really a miracle..I was trying to find a job as well when I have been studying in Lund because I wanted to stay in Sweden during the summer...But it is funny I even didn't get any job in any Stockholm hotel (I mailed almost to all of them)...But I really hope you will find something...Maybe you should try to find something in Malmo, which is bigger city and very close to Lund...As well as try to find something through eures.Good luck!!!

Satine,
You could try to find a paid traineeship in Lund via ELSA (European Law Students Association). I'm a member of this association, and I know that there are many active swedish students who could help you. That's just a suggestion of course. You could start by contacting the local group of ELSA in Hungary. The second solution is to find a sponsor who would accept to pay your tuition and fees. You can try to contact companies or association who would agree to assist you in your studies.
Good luck!!

Cigdem, today I got mail from my coordinator in European buisiness law and she said that within this programme it was nominated 4 students for scholarships. I am thinking that the same number should be and in human rights. If I don't get the scholarship, I also will need as Satine to try to find a way how to fund two years saty in Sweden..Money sometimes really rules..
Good luck!
Good luck!

Thanks for the information! I hope that they will give it to all 4 of you!!

Hi! Why don't you send an email to the Uni? I'm sure that they will send you a reply explaining you at which stage is your application.

hello baba jaha!
So we'll be "classmates",?? :)) I was admitted to the HR Programme as well. I'm from HUngary, and a I'was suprised, and a bit disappointed, when I realized the there's no scholrship for Hungarian, though this is the same region. :( And where are You from?
I must find a job very quickly, otherwise I couldn't study in Sweden. Thank Cigdem for the slant, I'll write to the ELSA in Lund.

Uch, how nice that almost all of you will know each other in HR. I haven't met somebody from European business law:((or I don't remeber:)
Anyway, yes tell Baba jaha where are you from? And you know Satine I am from one point of you jealous that you haven't been nominated for the scholarship because right now you can start to think and to search how to finance your stuidies in Sweden...Baba jaha I am afrraid that SI in reality will give very small number of scholarships...
Besides, Satine how is you job search?
Best luck,
Asta
p.s. did you recieve a Letter of Acceptence by regular mail from Lund university?

Hi!
I didn't receive the letter by regular mail, and I'm a little anxious, because I'm going to quit my job next week, but I have only a sinlge e-mail, that I'm accepted..... I don't know, how long we have to wait..... maybe some weeks.
I have no job yet, but actually, I'm searching for people having acquaintances in Sweden /or they are living there. I hope somebody will help me soon. I (we) have more than 3 month.....
