Hi! I am coming from Belarus. And all I can say about SI scholarships is that is a real mistery how they award them and of course it is lottery in some respect. I know it as I have been on summer courses financed by SI some years ago. Therefore just keep the faith. Yours will be yours in any case.

Satine, don't worry we are really accepted, just swedish as always are slow. Right now I am on vocation (through the may and early june I have state law exams) and after it I am going to quite my job as well...
You know if I don't get this scholarship, I am afraid to start to look for a job and I am nervous if I don't find as once has happined for me..
Baba_jaha you will get a scholarship. For that I am sure, because my coordinator wrote for me that the first priority is students from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and the left places for students from Lithuania..Even I don't think that is fear..
Good luck!

Hej,
I was in Int. Human Rights Programme. I am from Turkey. And SI provides special scholarship for Turkish student. Additionally, Sida provides some other scholarship for some africans and asians.Concerning job, I have never looked for a job, but you should have good knowledge of Swedish in order to get a job. If you are lucky you can get some cleaning job at hotels. Besides language difficulty, taxes are so high and you do not get so much money at the end.
Lasty, what other problem you have, could you please explain it one more time for me and I will try to answer.
have a nice day

Hi!
I think they send first the acceptance letter for the HR Programme, and after that, for the others. But it's just an idea.
Alessandra, don't give up, the last email for the HR programme was sent in the middle of June last year.

Hej,
I was quite satisfied with the content of the Programme. It is well known and reputable both the University and the Master Programme. Moreover, Lund is perfect city to study. It is known as a University city. I was also happy to know many people all over the world. And Swedish people are so friendly and nice, especially who works in library, staff member of the Institutute and University, I am sure you will enjoy the programme.

But with no go or bad news! I haven't been contacted yet and I just filled my housing pre-registration form.

Hey everybody!
I am wondering if any of you has received the acceptance letter by mail. I am still waiting and getting a little anxious because I am moving to Washington DC for the summer. I have an internship there working on International Human Rights so I am a little stressed that they will send the letter of acceptance and I won't be here anymore. I think I'm gonna send an e-mail to Hanna and ask about it.
Alessandra and Maktub, I am still confident you will get in!

Hi Maktub,
I'm applying to different LLM programs since 2005:) Some universities didn't accept my applications, others did but I couldn't go for financial reasons. Of course, I was really sad at that time. But there is always a way to get through problems like that. I can tell you only one thing, I'm so happy that I didn't succeed because I gained work experience and maturity. And never forget this: "tough situations don't last, but tough people do"
Take care!!

Hello everybody!
I got my letter as well....
Maktub, It's very sad, that you aren't admitted, but the girls are right, maybe You have other way to find yourself. I think the LLM in the Netherlands is very good either, the country is beautiful, so you didn't lost anything.....
(However It is to be regreted, that we will not be classmates in Lund)
So I haven't find any job yet in Sweden, and I'm going to be alittle nervous about it. I have no financial background, but i will start my studies by any means... So it will be a busy summer.... :)
