LLM in Turin

I just completed the residential part of this program. The program is fantastic. I really can't say enough great things about it. Yes, there are a few things I might change, but overall a great program.

Just curious - what are the things you would change about it?

Honestly, when you change one piece of a program, you have an effect on others. Therefore, I would be reluctant to change much. But, the things I wish were a little different:

1. Less focus on patent (it seemed like 1/2 of the course). More treatment given to copyright and trademark. There was a good amount, but I felt like those areas got shorted a little -- although the classes that we had in those areas were largely outstanding. For example, Prof. Zanetti rocked the house in TM, as did Frosio and Derclaye in Copyright. (Not an exclusive list).

2. I would have liked to see more horizontal learning. Many members of the class were of very impressive professional backgrounds, or at least brought a really interesting perspective to things. I would have liked to see more presentations by classmates.

Of course, these are (if you ask me) minor tweaks to a fantastic program. The time I spent in the residential program was the most rewarding semester of my academic life.
