Can anyone give any tips on finding accommodation in paris? Like which places are good or which housing site I can trust.

Do you speak French? If so, https://www.leboncoin.fr/ is the 'goto' place for most anything in France, including rental accommodation. Otherwise you can check out sites such as http://www.parisattitude.com/tenant/furnished-student-rentals.aspx# where you can even put in SciencesPo as a location in the search bar, along with intended dates.
Have you figured out a budget?
This map might be useful. It shows typical rates for a 35 square metre apartment near each of the Metro stations. You could see what's in your budget, and work out from the nearest Metros to Sciences Po (Sèvres Babylone, Saint-Sulpice, Saint-Germain, Rue du Bac).

Wow. Thank you so much. Do you know anything about how good the rooms are in Cite U or Comforts of Homes (Paris)?
Posted May 29, 2017 16:01
No, sorry, I have no direct experience of those places.
I've never rented directly in Paris before. My wife and I go to Paris often, but either stay in a hotel or with friends ...

I just realised that I had not included the map. Here it is:

Hey everyone!:-) I got admitted and should be headed to Paris in late August (just trying to settle the tuition fee;-)) - super excited! Currently based in Brussels, but from Denmark originally.
Looking forward to meeting you all soon in Paris!
Ps. I've been in some contact with the department and it seems we will get information on courses etc. in late June, beginning of July.

Congratulations! We don't have too many starters compared to some of the other threads (Stockholm, MIDS for example). It will be exciting to be part of a very small group in a brand new course. And of course who doesn't like Paris?

Thank you both!
I've applied for cité universitaire, but it is very competitive, so we'll see... If not I have a good friend in Paris and we might find something together. Nothing settled yet. :-)

Yes. But I think it is expensive.
