I would like to share with you my feedback about LL.M. in IP & IT law (LIPIT) programme at the University of Göttingen. LIPIT gives an opportunity to develop your knowledge either in IP or IT & data privacy field. I can definitely recommend this programme especially for those who are interested in IT & data privacy law.
Apart from traditional lectures, you can also find there very practical courses led by practitioner experts e.g. from Deloitte or eBay. You can always approach your lecturers and discuss any topic. In addition, those who were interested, could attend the data privacy conferences at Europol in the Hague or CPDP in Brussels. This brought opportunities to meet the data privacy experts not only from Europe but across the world.
The atmosphere at the University is very positive and you can take additional activities. LIPIT is quite flexible so you can schedule your timetable in the way that you have a possibility to search an internship or a part time work. The University offers also free German language courses.
From my perspective LIPIT is a good choice and the diploma helps with the further career!
