Hi! I received my acceptance today for Advanced masters in European and International Human Rights law. I had applied around last week of October. It took around 4-5 weeks for the decision to be met out. All the very best!

I also have applied almost 10 weeks ago but still no answer. I think this delay is due to their Christmas vacation.

Hi guys! I submitted my application on Nov 28th and received the offer of Law and Finance today. By the way, does anyone know something about this program? Since I intend to work in EU after graduation, is the program worth to attend? Thanks!

Hi @Rimbaud and @sanaw, I took the Adv. LLM in International Civil and Commercial Law at Leiden University during the Academic year 2016-2017. If you have any questions or curiosity about the program please feel free to write me.

Hello everyone, I need some insights into my situation. I am an International student and have an offer from UCL. I am also expecting an offer from Leiden University. My area of specialisation is Public International Law. With all the Brexit commotion and accounts of previous students, I am fairly certain that London will not let me stay beyond my period of study. Can someone shed some light on the situation in Holland? How open are they to International students staying beyond their period of study? Job prospects? Comparison of courses etc? Thank you in advance. :)

Hello,
All non-EU students are entitled to a so-called "Search Year" in the Netherlands which means that within 3 years of graduation you are allowed to stay in the Netherlands for one year. Finding a job depends on many aspects of course: are you a good student, do you have relevant previous works experience, network etc. We're open to international students, but for some jobs proficiency in Dutch may be required (the University has a language centre).
kind regards,
Anette
