Is anyone applying to the LLM in International and European Economic and Commercial Law at the University of Lausanne? (http://www.unil.ch/llm/)
If I'm not completely mistaken, the course load is quite tough (3 Compulsory Courses, 5 Specialization Courses and 8-10 Optional Courses) It would also help a lot to hear from former students about their experiences!!

hi there,
the compulsory courses for all students include 8 subjects in total and as far as I know there are 8 and 7 specialization courses for Int. and Europ. Econ. Law and Int. and Europ. Commer. Law respectively, and in conclusion a student may choose a number of 15 options.
Pristine information you should await by February and final responses will be sent latest by the end of May I guess

I am from Switzerland. I live in Fribourg but my sister live in Lausanne and has a guestroom to provide.
For me this LL.M is a great opportunity because the fee is affordable and I like the fact that it is an executive LL.M considering I am working part-time as a jurist in Bern.

Hi everyone,
I am going to be applying for the Fall 2011 entrance for the LLM program and I was a bit confused about the process. I was wondering if anyone could help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
I am a bit nervous about writing the motivation letter because I have studied in the US all my life and so I am use to writing the letter by the US "structure" and I don't know if in Europe what they expect is a bit different. I tried for samples on the website just to get a general idea and I could not find anything.
Do any of you have an suggestions? :) And of course! Congratulations to all of you who got in! :)
Thank you!
