Hey, has anyone who has applied for the LL.M. heard anything from Geneva Academy so far? Interviews, Decisions, Additional Documentation email, anything?

I have applied to the LL.M. program in the Full Scholarship Track. Submitted my application exactly five minutes before the deadline!

Hello, as Alexandra has provided us that there is a payment to be paid to the academy by preselected applicants, I am confused did the academy requested and if so where can I locate the information.

Actually my question is if somebody knows about this part of the process because I couldn't find it in previous threads

I couldn't find any explanatory info on their website. But I found something from a previous board post which might help:

The relevant portion is: ''As far as I know, once academy accepts us, we have to register at the university of geneva and send a proof of registration to teh academy to let them know we are serious about teh program and then they will considerus for scholarships.''

The issue for me is, I do not think that the current rule for admitted students is that there has to be a separate registration with the Uni of Geneva. I might be wrong.

Hello all! As far as I know, once academy accepts us, we have to register at the university of geneva and send a proof of registration to teh academy to let them know we are serious about teh program and then they will considerus for scholarships. Given that we have to pay the tuition (portion of it) to the academy before we even find out fromthe university if they accept us, I contacted the acadmy adn askedif there were any cases when students who were accepted by teh academy were refused by the university. They said there were no such cases. So, it's a redundant process, in that we have to submit school documents all over again, but it looks risk free.
Related question - has anybody received anything from teh academy by regular mail. Their email said that they will mail us the confirmation as well, but I still haven't got anything by regular mail.
as for the apartments, there are a couple of websites by apartment agents, but I have to search my bookmarks. Once I find them, I will post them (this week). As for residences, they look as expensive as the apartments, and you have to apply early (at least 3 months), some charge a fee in advance. So, they are pretty pricy. Idon't know the neighbourhoods in Geneva, as I never was there. I am Canadian, but I am studying in Austria now. I hope to go to Geneva in May to check out apartments, but with courses every day, it's tricky to find a couple of free days.

"We would like to know you better and have the possibility to talk more deeply about your application and aspirations for this programme. For this purpose we would like to invite you to a Skype interview with the admission committee and one of the administrative member."

Yes, I did receive an acknowledgement email, maybe within a few minutes after submission.

I applied for a scholarship as well, an hour before midnight, 31 Jan, Geneva time.

If you have not received anything, maybe you should email the Academy and let them know.

Hello everyone, I applied to Geneva Academy with Full Scholarship Track to the MTJ program in early December but have not received anything from them. I emailed them and they said that I should receive a response from them in March. However, as I read here in this forum, some people have already been contacted by the academy. Is anyone else also in the same situation as me? Or am I alone and my fear of the worst that I will just receive a refusal letter in March might just be true.

If I were you, I would pursue this strongly. At least, I would ask for confirmation that they received my application and that it is under consideration. After all, its their fault that they haven't sent the automatic reply, even though you submitted your application. So this might or might not have been a technical issue in their server. Its better to clarify. But that's just my personal opinion.

Update:

I just had my interview, 6 min long ( I don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing ).
It was a simple interview. I asked again when should we hear back from the academy and he said mid-march.
