I am an Indian lawyer who is interested in pursuing an LL.M. in Germany. I am interested in knowing whether I will be qualified and eligible to practise as a lawyer in Germany after the completion of the LLM program?

Sorry to disappoint you, but you will not be qualified as a lawyer after the LLM. If you were German or had studied German law respectively, you would have to sit two massive exams, ie the First and the Second State Exam - the latter being the Bar Exam, whereas the first one is the one completing your University education. However, it is also possible (at least for Europeans!) to sit an aptitude test to get your foreign bar qualification recognised in Germany. This test is not that easy by the way...I am not sure what you have to do, if you come from states outside the European Union, but I am almost 100% sure that solely an LLM won't help to become qualified.
