Yesterday, I called the Erasmus University and they told me the European universities had the chance to review the applications and that now the last selection will be made by the University of Hamburg. They hope it will be announced this month, so I'll guess we have to wait for a moment before we know if we are admitted!
There were about 120/130 application for 40 places for European students. And about 400 applications for 20 places for the (already admitted) non-European students.

I am admitted and my allocation is : Hamburg - Bologna - Haifa /// See you there!

Guys, how hard is it to be admitted and obtain the scholarship?especially for third world country student, i am not rich enough to enroll for the program without any financial aid.
Posted Jun 04, 2008 14:35
I really dont' know how hard competition is, but if you enrolled taking Madrid as the recruiting institution (what would suppose that you spend the last three months there) you only need to pay 500 euros (=the amount for securing your place) instead of 4500, which is payable whenever your recruiting station is Hamburg.

I forgot to mention, the disadvantage of undertaking classes in Madrid are somehow obscure, but as far as I understood, the emle programe won't issue the diploma but the single universities where you study.

As I understand, you don't get the Erasmus Mundus title included in your diploma if you attend Madrid, but you still get the LLM in Law and Economics.

Hi, I'm doing the EMLE right now and so far I'm happy with it.
Best university is Hamburg. Aix and Bologna are so-so. Germans can spend the first term in George Mason, and up to 3 students can spend 2 months in Berkeley for the third term.

I am interested in this program. However, I am concerned about job opportunities with this degree out side of EU. Can anyone share their experience? The program seems very interesting and exiting, but is it practical?

Hi! Nice meeting u all here:) I'm from China.
I'm glad to be admitted by the program. My allocations are Rotterdam, bologna and Rotterdam. I'd like to know if anyone got the same or some of the three terms in one of those cities?

hey guys
Does anyone know whether we can change the third term?
I got Aix-en Provence, but I want to write thesis in Hamburg.
Do I change after having a meeting on second terms? Is it possible?

As far as I know you can apply if you did not get the allocations you have choosen on your sent application.
First I had some thoughts over change one term of mine, since I got 2 terms in same allocation, but then I read the doc they sent more carefully =)
in the end I am feeling lucky anyway that they accepted my preferred locations. (=

itidag,
I started another thread, but there was no reply to it, so was wondering if you have any idea of the word limit for the Statement of Motivation? The FAQ is silent on this point.
Thanks!
SV

Guys,I have a problem.I can't figure out what is this:
Applicants with a bachelor degree only need to provide proof that this degree is an appropriate level of qualification in the labour market in their home country.
I am an applicant with a bachelor degree, but what is this proof? What will I ask,and where shall I aquire it?
