Hi, nkl!
In fact my experience could be a bit useful probably only for those ones who have interviews by phone (not by the selectaion committe). Well, first of all, do not be embarassed! On the whole, it is a very standart interview:)) I mean nothing extraordinary. Naturally, some part of it will be dedicated to your personality, basic achievements and goals for the future. Another is to reveal your language aptitude (English and French). And the final one is to analyze the applicability of your research and interests towards the curriculum of the CE. The only thing I was really embarassed is that...well, I expected that I shall introduce my research activities and goals in Englsih and only have some brief talk in French aimed to reveal if I could really speak and understand it...it turned completely vice versa...the most "difficult" questions (i.e. which dealt with my former research papers) were discussed in French. Hence, be prepared that CE is a bilingual institution!
Well, guys, if there are collegues of mine admitted for next year course (2006-2007), I do not mind exchanging the e-mails...:))
GOOD LUCK!
