Very true pal!
It will be very had to get resident permits in time for the beginning of the semester if we get admitted in the second round.
I really hope that we do get the admissions though. There is a lot to say in favour of broad based admissions to higher education in terms of quality of discussions and exchange of experiences. I am sure that studera nu is aware of this

I talked to someone at Uppsala University International Admission office and she said that all Swedish Embassy and Consulates have been informed of the delay by Studera and they will process all students are accepted in the first or second round.

Thanks Genep :)
After reading Dr's post, I feel kind of scared of the rejection by the programme because what if the number of applicants getting a 999 excede the number of seats available. That would be a major let down. But its too soon to tell.
Anyways all the best to everyone applying to swedish universities :) Cheers

Hello,
I just received my 'notification of admission' and it says my selection result is Reserve 80. Does anyone know what this means and if there is still a chance? Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I was accepted to the International Human Rights Program. Think there will be about 30 on the general program. I'm from Ireland and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone In August.

Hey everyone, I've been following your discussions (even though I wasn't registered) these past few days, and just like you I was nervously waiting for the results!
First of all, congrats to all of those who have been admitted and I'll keep my fingers crossed for those who are on 'reserve' lists.
Finally, I've been admitted to Lund, the programme that was my 2nd choice, only because I mis-judged the programme rankings when I was applying. Over the time, I realized it should have been my first choice, so you could say that luckily I got admitted for my very 1st choice!!
The reason I'm writing this is that I'm overwhelmed by happiness, and goosh I think I'm even more nervous now hahaha.
At the Studera site, at my account-page, it says 'no reply from me is needed' right now.
So, what do I do now??? Search for housing and ask for the residence permit would be expected, right? Maybe I should call my programme coordinator...Gosh, I'm so confused LOL.
Anyway, I hope to see y'all in Lund!!!
best wishes
Toni

Hi ToniJ-my studera notification also said that I was admitted without reply needed...but I replied yes anyway! just to be certain! You never know! I have pre-registered and will be going to the consulate tomorrow to file for a visa. Congratulations! and do not be nervous...I understand though-I am anxious myself and it is a far move for me! But it is exciting. What program were you admitted to? I'm general HR law. Well, go and celebrate! Congrats to everyone who has been admitted and good luck to everyone who is waiting for confirmation!

Welcome to the board Toni! It would have been nice to have your input during those trying moments of anxiety and waiting.
I too have been admitted to Lund for my 1st choice. The other options have therefore been deleted which is ok by me. From the website I gather that you will now preregister and start the accomodation search etc.
Where are you from and what programme did you get admitted to? Congrats to you and all the best to all!
Remember there is still another admission round to go.

Guys, did any of you apply for SI scholarships/ funding through studera nu? If so, any idea how that is going and whether there will be any notifications?

Hey everyone, thanks so much for your support!
I'm from Croatia and the programme is Film and Media Production. I'm so excited!
@Giustizia: you replied? What did you write?
@Genep: I applied for the scolarship too, but I don't think this programme is eligible...Anyway, I think we should receive some sort of information soon. At the studyinsweden.com it says that the decision should be made sometime in May or in June.

ToniJ-you are from Croatia?! I lived with a Croatian woman while I was working at the ICTY! All I learned was dirty words in BCS! haha. I've always wanted to visit-I hear it's beautiful.
As for the reply: I simply clicked the reply button on my studera page and and checked off "yes" next to the name of the program and clicked submit reply. I don't think that it was necessary but if you are able to do it-why not? Contact your program administrator to confirm as well.
Congrats.
