Hi everyone
i am lawer and i'm currently doing a post graduate degree in tax law at brazill.
I will finish my post graduate degree in 2 months ( expected cgpa 8.8/10) and i want to apply to Maastritch or Leiden international tax program.
My main concern is my CGPA wich is 6.98 / 10. Thing is that i have a decent work experience with Brazilian tax law ( 3 years as an intern and 1.5 as a tax lawer) and i also went to Leiden's international tax summer school.
Do you guys think it's possible to get into Maastritch or Leiden with my work experience and a good personal statement?
Admission chances at Leiden or Maastritch

How did your CGPA compare to others in your course? Were you graded on a curve?
It depends. As far as I know there are now minimum GPA requirements at Leiden, but I believe that Maastricht asks for the equivalent of an upper second class honors degree. You can write them and ask if they would consider you. Fortunately, these aren't *highly* completive schools - compared to a school like Stanford or Harvard - so there might be some leeway.
Your work experience will most certainly help.

Dear Cfnnf,
Please note that after this academic year, the International and European Tax Law programmes will not be offered at Leiden University. You may check: https://www.itc-leiden.nl/en/ for more information.
Kind regards,
Anette

Even so: do you have any comments on GPA requirements at Leiden? I'm sure this user and potentially others would be interested to hear about that.

Hi,
You would need a 3.5/4 if you want to apply for the Advanced Masters programmes at Leiden Law School.
Kind regards
Anette
