I was just accepted to the 2013 - 2014 year for the LLM at the ADH Geneva Academy! I was wondering if anyone else had heard as well?

Also, if any past or present students could pass on any information about finding housing. I would really appreciate it!

I recently got accepted as well in the LL.M. programme
I was wondering: My knowledge of French is pretty poor but on the website it actually says that even though core subjects are in English, people can ask questions in French in class - so is this course going to make my life too difficult?

I was also wondering whether you, or anyone, have an idea about the reputation of the AdH in the international legal circles.

is there any facebook group or what not for the newcomers to AdH where we can all communicate more easily?

do you also have any idea about what's happening with accommodation? I heard it's a terrible drag.

I am also a bit worried about the French because my French isn't great either. It's next to nothing really. I am sure they know that when accepting us so I am sure we can always ask the professors later or ask for a clarification. I am planning on brushing up on my French though because I go there. I have been looking for an online course I could take to assist me in my French skills.

I don't know of ADH's reputation in international legal circles.

I do know that is an ADH group for the 2012/2013 year but nothing has been created yet for the 2013/2014 year.

I have been looking at housing and it has seemed quite difficult so far. I have contacted ADH about housing but they said they will only let me know once they receive the 500 CHF. I am hoping to find something soon. I just typed in student housing in geneva and I found a list of some so that is always an option. I am going through and emailing each one to figure out if I would have any options there.

Hi all ;addmitted and applicants! for 2013/2014 A.Y, any news about how many applicants are accepted by now! and what about the scholarships applicants, any feedback yet!!!

Hiiiii! I haven't heard from anyone else. I just know from the website that in total the number of ppl will be 35 (15 on scholarship and 20 fee-paying students). I should imagine it takes a bit longer to decide on the ones on scholarship. Application deadline was the 28th, so replies should start kicking in?

I have a question which I'm not sure of. I am in my final year of my law degree, so I obviously don't know my final grade yet (will know in July). Nevertheless, the acceptance letter I received from the Academy did not refer to any 'condition' (whether I need to get a specific final grade or something) - it just said that I need to submit my final results/transcripts when I receive them in July. Is anyone in the same position? Is it their tendency to make 'unconditional' offers?

Hi Alexisef, I think , they've assessed your application file as a whole!, especially if you've already taken public international law and any other related courses! in addition to what they've found in your motivation letter and the letters of recommendations and other stuff, from which law school you are going to graduate!!!

I am on the waiting list too, I sent an email to ask for some info on this list, but they just told me that for policy reasons they can't say exactly what your rank is on the list, but that we are more or less 20. but I have no idea an chances of getting in... would be really useful toknow what happened in te past years..?!

Hey, haven't heard anything either - they also need to send us info on when does the programme start etc, along with info on the first installment for fee-paying students.
I guess there's also a few halls that partner with the geneva uni - or am I wrong?
