Hi.
Am looking for a distance learning LLM in banking and finance or in international trade.
I unfortunately have a 2:2 and a bachelor degree in finance with law. also my budget is limited- maximum 16k.
Most of the courses are either full time or too expensive or require an upper second class. I also have 4 1/2yrs banking experience. i am currently a stay at home mom after the birth of my 2nd child and want to pursue my career as a lecturer.
can anyone please advise.
I am really disappointed and tired of searching.
Thank you

Hi there, I'm in sort of the same position as you in that I'm looking for online programs focusing in banking and finance. Any luck finding anything with that budget? I was looking at the Liverpool online LLM in finance and banking law - maybe that one is of interest to you? I also saw that Thomas Jefferson also offers some interesting online LLMs.

of the ones I have seen, this one seems very well designed and thought out.
I have been looking for awhile and I really haven't found the perfect ones. Osgood Hall and U of Edinburgh seem good but they are a little expensive and I not quite sure that the expense is worth it.

to Rita2013,
hey.
liverpool is such a lengthy process. you need to write essays etc etc. pffff.and all that before sending your application for assessment.
does thomas jeff accept 2;2? also how much does it cost?

I would think that any LLM that's worth the investment would require you to write at least one essay or personal statement, no?

yes i do agree. but they ask so much details especially on employment-i mean what and how you do whatever you are supposed to do. like if u say i do x analysis then they askyou how you do that, what tools do you use.
