PhD in Law for an Indian National

I have completed my undergraduate studies in law from National Law School in 2015. Thereafter, I pursued my Masters in Law (LL.M.) from National University of Singapore in 2016. After due completion, I am currently working at a MNC as an associate lawyer. Note:- I was in top 20% of the class at both the institutions.

Since, my interests lies in academics, I am interested in pursuing a PhD in Law from a top Canadian Law School (preferably next year onward). Moreover, I also intend to take up a position as a Lecturer post PhD.

Request someone experienced or a local to share their views on the same and opine accordingly.

Thanks & Regards,
VP

Hi Vaibhav,

Did you enroll in any PhD program? I am looking at a similar career path for myself hence this caught my attention.
