There are two Osgoode LLM programs - are you looking at the thesis-based program or the professional program?

I can't tell you too much, but I can say that you should make sure that your thesis proposal is solid and that there are faculty at Osgoode who would be appropriate advisors. If they don't have someone on the faculty that they think can properly serve as an advisor for your project (of if that person is too busy/unavailable for some reason), they are likely not to admit you.

Hello All;
Has anyone enrolled in or have experience with Osgoode's distance LLM?
The videoconferece feature is interesting. I was also wondering if they have videotapes of the lectures available?
How are the take home exams? I was interested in either a general LLM, Business law, etc. My focus is more global than strictly Canadian.
I started with U of L but found their methods uninteresting and uninspiring. When you consider of taking the costs of the examinations, time from work to travel to exam schedules and the utter absence of feedback ( except for payment and the library services, it is not cheap.
Osgoode appears to be a reasonable choice for the price point if the quality of the courses is good and the bureacracy/efforts worh the reward.
thanks for any advice.
