Hi
I received a BA in Law from Oxford University in 2005, then did my LPC, trained at a UK law firm and qualified as a UK Solicitor in November 2008.
I now want to give the NY Bar as I might be shifting to the US for a few months and be unemployed so hoping it will be a good use of time.
I am wondering what is the best method to prepare and what company Kaplan, Pieper or BARBRI, considering I will be based in Chicago - will homestudy be okay and if so what home study programme is most geared to foreign lawyers?
Thanks.

if still purusing the ny bar option, we can plan a study group. when do you intend to take the bar?

I'm actually in London right now, but will probably be moving in a month and a half. My plan was to give it in February but it might need to be delayed to the Summer.
