LLM Admission Letter

Hi

I have applied to a few universities in Canada for admission to their LLM program.

Does anyone know when they usualy send out admission letters? The reason I am asking is that I need to enrol my two little girls at school and daycare etc. Then if I do get admission we still have to go through the entire visa process before I can get to Canada and we sit in Namibia which is in south west Africa and the closest Canadian Consulate is in South Africa.

So quite a lot of hurdles to jump in a very short period of time.

Hope to hear your comments soon.

Hello,

Every university has its own admissions cycle which is usually indicated on its website.

Hi

Thank you for the response.

I have read all the websites. They unfortunately only give deadlines for applications and then say it will be reviewed and you must keep track of your file for a response. I applied at Toronto, Ottowa, York and British Columbia.

So I was hoping for "ballpark" dates to enable me to plan my life accordingly.

As LegalLife said, check the websites. You just have to read more carefully. For example, University of Toronto:
We aim to make all decisions by the end of March. LLM admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. We will email successful applicants immediately when a decision has been made, and follow up with a letter in the mail. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email and mail as well. Please ensure your mailing address is updated online. Decisions cannot and will not be given over the telephone or in response to an email enquiry.
