Hello!
I am a Bangladeshi Canadian. Most of the degrees in Canada are changing from the LLB to the JD. If I studied in England, would my LLB be worth less in Canada?
And do Canadian law degrees matter less, because everyone seems to think that Canadian universities are easier to get into, in comparison to the universities in the US and UK?
Thank you!

Hi, if you are Canadian and want to work as a lawyer in Canada, your best route is to go to a Canadian law school. If you study in England, you will have to go through a qualification process from the NCA when you return to Canada and many law firms in Canada tend to prefer to hire students who have graduated from a Canadian law school. Its also easier to get into an articling position from a Canadian law school - the law firms here recruit from the Canadian law schools and the articling application process is built in once you are in 3rd year of law school. Hope this helps.
