Is there any ranking of Canadian LLM that takes the concentration into account? I am moving to the University of Ottawa in August and am aware that it has the best LLM program in Law and Technology in Canada. But I am very much looking forward to find a ranking with classification of Canadian universities by concentration.

Hi Thompson
I've been looking for a Canadian Law School ranking as well. There is not a lot of serious information on the net. The only thing I found is an article published by "Canadian Lawyer"-magasine. It's just e general Law School ranking (not LL.M.) and the University of Ottawa is set on rank 13. Have a look at it at: http://www.canadianlawyermag.com/Media/Law_Schools_Report_Card_2004.pdf
If you've found anything else, let me know. Greets Piano

Hi, Piano.
I was aware of this report, but it does not seem to reflect the truth. As you may have noticed, McGill only ranks 5th, Toronto ranks 3rd, and Calgary ranks 1st... Even though, what I was really looking for was a ranking by concentration.
There are no doubts that the quality of the LLM in Law & Tech program of the University of Ottawa transcends the overall reputation of its undergraduate program (which, however, is geting stronger in the last years). See my post in: http://www.llm-guide.com/board/7040. It would be very interesting, then, to see a comparison between uOttawa, UofT, and McGill in what refers specifically to their graduate programs in this field of concentration (as you can find, for instance, a ranking of intellectual property programs in the USNews).
Anyway, next monday I will be moving to Ottawa. And I am really, really sure that the competitive, bilingual, cosmopolitan, placed in the capital, faculty strong, and with lots of canada research chairs Law and Technology Program of "Canada's University" is not runed by the 13th place Law School in Canada.
All the best.
