Hi, I am a HK citizen who did his undergraduate degree in law in UK. I filed my online evaluation form with NYBole, and submitted all the required documents last December 2017 (I received NYBole's confirmation of receipt of my documents in December 2017).

I plan to take the NY bar exam in July 2018 and I'm getting a little worried. My other friends who took the NY bar told me that it takes approximately ten to twelve weeks from receipt of all documents to get NY Bole's approval/rejection. (I know that the site states that it will take at least six months)

How long did it take NY Bole to determine your eligibility to take the NY bar (in cases of foreign law study)? Is it proper to follow up with them and inquire on the status of my application? Your replies will be of great help. Thanks in advance!
