NY bar exam documents

Ayzac

Hi all

I'm taking the NY bar exam next year after my LLM; I'm from a civil law country. Does anyone know what sort of documentation is required from you to prove your level: all your law transcripts from your home country (which we already had to give for our applications) or is the LLM degree enough?
Any information would be very useful.

Check on the NY Board of Law Examiners website.
I don't think they consider any of your academic credentials from a civil law country. It will go solely on your LLM. They may consider your bar admission in your home country though. In that case you will need a certificate of good standing.
