NY Bar

Hey

I am planning on sitting the New York Bar on February. I am not attending a course and was wondering if anyone in a similar position in the past could tell me when do you send away the foreign eligibility forms.
It says on the Bar Exam website that they need to see that you are accredited to practise law in your home country. Where do I obtain this proof?

Hello,

Normally this would be from your law school. They should sign and stamp a statment that you have finished all educational requirements to practice law in you country i.e. an LLB.

Good Luck!

Just go to the bole site and download the form for eligibility. Then attach your transcripts. It would take at least 6 weeks to get a response from them.
