I am planning on taking the Feb '20 bar exam in California as a foreign attorney applicant. I currently live outside of the US. I am trying to plan the most cost effective schedule for the following months as it is quite costly to travel to the States from my country.
The bar exam is at the end of February. There is an MPRE exam at the end of March. I think I can go for the Bar Exam in February and stay for a month until I can take the MPRE. I don't know anything about Moral Character Determination though. What do I need to provide? When should I apply for it? What is the process for foreign attorney applicants? Do I need to go to the US for it? How long does it take? I would appreciate any information in this regard. Thanks in advance.
