Hi,
has anyone ever heard anything about llmbarexam.com? They do a lot of advertising at my law school and seem to be the only ones offering Bar preparation excluisvely focussed on foreign LL.Ms. Their courses start in January (for the July exam) and is comparatively affordable, but I would be keen to hear what others have done to prepare for the Bar!

Hi guys!
I run into this post by chance, and I felt obliged to share my experience. I am a Fordham LLM graduate (May 2011), and I took the NY Bar Exam last July after taking the LLM Bar Exam Review.
LLM Bar Exam is a great bar review. Its method is unique for two reasons: first and foremost, they know what they do and what they talk about. They will ask you to study a lot (it's the bar exam, not a LLM exam...) with a detailed strategy that will boost your confidence. Besides, they know the ropes: they will give you many tips, whose helpfulness you will find out day by day.
Its method is also unique because it is actually the only bar review that has a method! The other ones, conceived for JD students, ask you to cram as much as possible. JD students can do it pretty much easily in that it's only a review for them. LLMs can hardly catch up.
I know how difficult it's to pick the bar review because basically you don't know how to evaluate them. Last year, I was about to pick another one. Eventually, I chose LLM Bar Exam, and I am very happy of it! That's why today I am glad to share my experience. If you have other doubts, inbox me! Enjoy ur LLM!

I graduated from Columbia Law School last May. After that I took the Bar Exam because I got a job offer from a US frim. Therefore I decided to register in a bar prep course. I chose LLM Bar Exam for three reasons:
1. Availability and prompt response to inquiries (I sent two emails asking for prices and other features:one to Barbri the other to LLMBarExam. Barbri never replied except for an automatic email response. LLMBarExam replied the same day by the hand of the director) If you want a more tailored approach I believe there is no space for doubt.
2. Special focus on non US legal background students (this makes all the difference, specially in class and it allows you to make the most of the teaching part of the course).
3. Live streaming option. (I went abroad to study for the Bar and the live strreaming always worked perfectly).

Hi! This is a bit late for you, but for future student's reference, I, too, chose LLM Bar Exam because I always received timely response to my questions, and this remained true even after I started taking their classes. They were always so warm and supportive. I think they are only able to do this because (1) they limit the number of students they enroll each year for quality control reasons and (2) every student is assigned a personal tutor. Anyway, I love LLM Bar Exam!
