Hi all I am new to this forum and would really appreciate some advice!
I am currently in the process of planning to relocate to Queensland Australia having completed an LLB and an LLM. At the moment I am compiling my application to the Law Soc of Queensland to have my academics assessed. I understand that I will be required to undertake 2 or 3 subjects. Has anyone any idea roughly how much each of these subjects cost? Is there much of a discrepancy between the various colleges?
Secondly, does anyone have any experience of securing a traineeship in Queensland?
I hope to work as a legal assistant while completing the Australian law subjects and therefore intend on initially heading to Aus on the work holiday visa. Has anyone any experience of paralegal/legal assistant work in Aus? I have exp working in a high profile law firm in London and hope this will be beneficial to me.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

hey knoxxx3 nope I didn't get any replies...have just had to research it myself. I've decided to submit my application for academic recognition to the NSW Law Soc as it is cheaper to complete any required subjects through the LPAB. Where are you considering qualifying?
