SJD in Hong Kong, LLD Kyshu or LLM Singapore

dallton

Hello all,

does anybody have any first hand experience or knowledge on the quality of doing SJD (or PhD in Law) in either CityUHK or UHK? Most people posting discuss only LLM. Does SJD from Hong Kong help in career or not, whether Hong Kong wise or internationally? I am thinking of applying either there or with Kyshu LLD program of which I heard good things or LLM in Asian Legal Studies at the NU Singapore (not much knowledge, though).

thanks for information,

Dallton

Dallton,

Are you seeking to be a law professor?

If you are not planning on being an academic than having a JSD/LLD/PHD reeks of irrelevance.

The specialised LLM in Asian Legal Studies is a perfect fit for applicants interested in South/Southeast/Pacific Asian jurisdictions. The focus of the programme aims at commerce between, from and to ASEAN.
