so guys time is running very quickly. Has anyone booked Evans or Gillman Heights. The deadline for GH is March 19. As for Evans S$700 a bit much for me. Moreover a friend of mine made me quite skeptic about that place - "I wouldn't stay at Evans lodge because 1. they have a really bad management who gave my friends (not me) lots of problems 2. they have crazily strict policies (this I remember) 3. It's really ugly and old...Evans is TOO boring .If you stay there, you might get the wrong impression about Singapore and although Evans is close to the NUS Law School , it is far to EVERYTHING else. So imagine it's hard to do laundry, groceries shopping, finding food at night etc."

Not yet. I'll stay in a hotel for a week to look at apartments/rooms near the Bukit Timah Campus.

There are several options in http://sg.easyroommate.com
I am thinking about choosing one of them. There are apartments with more then one room available, so if anyone is interested ...
Sharing whole apartment would be also nice. Any options???

I've been looking at that same website but I rather see the surrounding areas before moving in. I also thought about renting an apartment and sharing it with other NYU@NUS students, because I really believe it would be "easier", since most of us are expats and will be attending the same LLM.
