Hi,
I think that even though it says 3 days, you can set up your NYU email and all that now. I did it last night right when I got the email.

Hi trooks, thanks a lot. Everything worked perfectly and I was able to set up my account.
Brightest, I'm from Colombia. I have not decided anything regarding housing accommodation in Singapore. Nonetheless I am thinking that what you say (going to a student hostel for the initial few months and then see what can be done) is probably the best way to proceed.
By the way, I am not completely sure if I remember correctly, but I think that you may use your Admissions Identification Number (which is in the letter of admission) instead of an NYU University ID or Social Security Number. Hope this helps.
Also, I think I once read that tuition fees would be payable by April, but this was some time ago and therefore I am not sure whether they have been modified. Sorry I cannot be of further help on this topic.

Hi trooks....I just wanted to tell you thatEven i have recieved a reply from NYU....i have been offered an admission to NYU and NYU@NUS both but no scholarship for NYU at New York City....for nyu@nus I have received us$35000 scholarship which they offer to everyone.....slightly confused as to what should I do....???????
WHich country are you from?????
hello Brightest
i believe you got acccepted for NYU@NUS. I'd like to know if the scholarship of us $35000 is still awarded to everyone who gets accepted for this course or has the uni waived this offer. I will be applying for 2010 session.
It'l be very helpful if you could answer this Query.
Thankyou.

Dear axel,
I dnt have any authoritative answer to ur query...nyu@nus started in 2007-08 and they had declared that the major scholarships will continue till 2010-11 (wat i heard from my sources) but yes the amount is decreasing evy year because last yr many students got us$35K award but this yr very few hv got it..... i got it luckily.....there are fair chances that next yr too they'll offer tis scholarship to admitted students with good credentials.....so all d best and make a strong case to vouch for this scholarship...
i hope this was useful
